Juliette Wathieu is currently a student in communication at the University of Liège. A backing-vocalist with band Phantom Featuring Lio - but soon to be known under the pseudonym of Mademoiselle Nineteen, Juliette Wathieu previously performed some rare gigs with her brother-guitarist Maxime (also a member of young belgian band The Mash). Juliette took her pseudonym Mademoiselle Nineteen after a recent project by belgian artist Charlotte Beaudry in which she performed as a model for paintings and drawings. Furthermore, for a few years now, Juliette has been represented in many paintings and drawings by Charlotte Beaudry, as one of her main model. And, strangely, Juliette’s brother Maxime recently composed a song after Charlotte Beaudry’s “Mademoiselle nineteen”. He obviously had no idea that his sister would adopt the name a bit later. Mademoiselle Nineteen's first album is to be released in February 2012.
